この度、MIMINOIMI podcastの1周年を記念し、MIMINOIMI presents 「Foor For Ears」の11回目を開催します。

今回は海外からの特別ゲストを迎えます。
まず、世界的に知られるフェスティバルUnsoundなどでも作品を披露してきた、リトアニアを代表するサウンドアーティストであるArturas Bumšteinasです。室内楽的アプローチの作品やパフォーマンス色の強い作品を多数発表するArturasですが、今回のイベントではソロで即興演奏を披露します。また、同じくリトアニアの新進気鋭のサウンドアーティストであるAlanas GurinasとGailė Griciūtėのデュオ演奏が行われます。いずれのアーティストも音楽表現とパフォーマンスアート・サウンドアートの垣根を自由に飛び越えるような活動を続けています。

アメリカからは音楽家・エンジニアで、Yaiなどの活動でもしられるJohn ThayerとLea Thomasによる新バンドMiyaxxを迎えます。

加えて、日本からは国内実験音楽最重要拠点ともなっている実験レーベルZappakを主催し、純度の高い即興演奏を続けるLeo Okagawa、アンビエント・レーベルMystery Circlesなどからもリリースを行い、サウンドアート作品の発表でも知られるTakeyuki Hakozaki（Pollypraha）、さらにMIMINOIMIレジデントDJであるiwamakiが出演します。

To celebrate the first anniversary of the MIMINOIMI Podcast, we are hosting the 11th edition of MIMINOIMI presents “Foor For Ears.”
This time, we’ll be joined by special guests from overseas.
First, Arturas Bumšteinas, one of Lithuania’s leading sound artists, who has presented his works at internationally acclaimed festivals such as Unsound. Arturas is known for his wide-ranging practice—from chamber music–inspired compositions to highly performative works—and for this event, he will present a solo improvisation.
Also performing will be Alanas Gurinas and Gailė Griciūtė, two talentful sound artists from Lithuania, whose work freely traverses the boundaries between musical expression, performance art, and sound art.
From the United States, we welcome Miyaxx, a new band formed by musician/engineer John Thayer (known for his project Yai) and Lea Thomas.
From Japan, the lineup includes Leo Okagawa, who runs the experimental label Zappak—a key platform for Japan’s experimental music scene—and continues to pursue pure forms of improvisation; Takeyuki Hakozaki (Pollypraha), known for his releases on ambient labels such as Mystery Circles and for his sound art works; and iwamaki, a resident DJ of MIMINOIMI.
Expect a night of rare and unrepeatable performances that can only be experienced here!
